The landscape (topography) in Runda Estate ranges between 1,690 meters above sea level in low lying areas to 1,750 meters above sea level in elevated areas.

MAE Properties Ltd (MAE is an acronym for Eliud Mathu, Andrew Zagoritis and Elia Zagoritis - who were the Owners/Directors of the Runda Coffee Estate by then) developed the first phase of the estate (Old Runda) between 1972 and 1980.
